Psalm 23

A Psalm of David

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want
He makes my life lie down in green pastures,
He leads me besides my quiet waters, he restores my soul.
He guides me in the path of righteousness for his names sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me,
In the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Gong,

It's been almost one year since you left us to begin a new life with God. I miss you very much, since I was not with you when you drew your final breath. But God loves you much more than I do.

That helps me to deal with the reality that you are now safely in God's hands in Heaven.

Dear Father,

I thank you so much for giving me the wonderful opportunity to share Your love with my granddad. But most of all his decision to accept You as his personal Lord and Saviour before passing away.

In Jesus' name I pray.Amen.

I shall stop here for now.=)
